Jalsah Pittsburgh is a community participation event that invites musicians, drummers, dancers and lovers of Middle Eastern music to sit in with the band, bellydance or listen to music throughout the night. Dancing is open floor all night!

On September 14th, bring your hipscarf, drum, guitar, clarinet, tuba, flute, sax, ukulele, whatever you got, and let's dance and make Middle Eastern music all night! Community participation is what it is all about!!

Special guest is Carmine Guida on oud from New York City.

Jalsah Pittsburgh V starts at 8:30 and will be at the Zenith, home of Pittsburgh's best vegetarian food: www.zenithpgh.com Snacks will be provided by Elaine, Robert and the Zenith Staff. BYOB! $7.00 admission to defray the cost of renting the Zenith. The event is all ages.

Musicians: a PA system will be provided, please bring your own patch cables and any extra cables to help out a fellow musician.
