JACK'S ART SHOW
Press Release
Jack the Ripper is celebrating his 120th Anniversary (1888-2008) by throwing St. Louis’s biggest
and best Halloween Art Show and Party. Dozens of our areas most talented artists will be
showing their most unusual and bizarre work. All media and styles will be represented. If you
love Halloween and Art, then this is the show for you. Kick off your Halloween festivities by
coming to this one night only show on Saturday, October 18th, 7pm-1am.
The audience will be apart of the art as well. While costumes are not required, they are highly
recommended. This is a party after all, so get some extra use out of that costume and wear it to
Jack’s show. As with all of his gatherings, there will be food, a cash bar and great people
watching. There will also be live music from Gentleman Auction House and a DJ to keep things
rockin’. This is guaranteed to be a night of crazy culture and freakish fun!
The event is being held at the Koken Art Factory. This is a huge, old, brick factory that has been
renovated into one of St. Louis’s largest gallery spaces. It is the perfect setting for Jack’s party.
The location is 2500 Ohio Avenue (at Sidney) in the Fox Park neighborhood. Their website
is www.kokenartfactory.com.
The big show is Saturday, October 18th, 2008 from 7pm-1am. There’s plenty of free
parking and admission is ONLY $2.00. Don’t be afraid to join Jack on this fateful night!
