Jack Ferver: Death Is Certain January 31, 2009

In the work-in-progress 'Death Is Certain,' which will premiere at Danspace Project at St. Marks Church in April 2009, choreographer Jack Ferver and dancers Liz Santoro and Tony Orrico look at the manipulative, savage, and desperate ways we try to resist the most certain thing. High-octane choreography and brutally honest text are set to an original score written and performed live by John McGrew of Apollo Run. The Studio Series offers eight artists a year a 100 hour creative residency and the opportunity to research and develop work in a process-oriented space.
