J.T. Thomas is a new school comic with old school flavor. This young performer is high energy personified and is sure to leave the audience in stitches. His talents have taken him from clubs and colleges in the Midwest all the way to the west coast. In 2004, J.T. went as far as the regional finals for B.E.T.'s comedy/talent show Coming to the Stage. If you want comedy's next star, you want J.T. Thomas.
In 2003, Jared Logan moved to Chicago, where he became an amateur stand-up comedian in the local scene, performing at alternative comedy venues such as The Lincoln Lodge and Chicago Underground Comedy. He became a regular rotating cast member in the famously popular late-night game show Dont Spit the Water. He is one of the creators of the currently running midnight variety show A Demon Who Never Appeared, appearing monthly at The Playground Theater. Logan is perhaps best known for the following joke, entitled My Liver. "I am a sick man... I am a spiteful man. I'm an unattractive man. I think there is something wrong with my liver."
Your host will be Jena Friedman who has been writing and performing jokes ever since graduating from Northwestern University in 2005, with a degree in Anthropology (which is kind a joke, too!). Jena performs stand up, improv and sketch comedy around Chicago and recently wrote and directed The Refugee Girls Revue, a musical parody on American Girl Dolls in New York, and recently performed as part of the New York Underground Comedy Festival.
