JP Slidewell is a singer of traditional folksong. Further to that, he is a tremendously good one who is rapidly making a name for himself in the clubs and festivals throughout Britain. Accompanying himself on guitar he sings mostly English, with some Scottish and Irish, songs and, to quote ‘Rock’n’Reel’ magazine: “his command and singing are note perfect and the music full of emotion and passion”.
