Join us for a sketching workshop with guest presenters Cecilia Case and George Reiswig.
A major part of the interaction designer’s job is in the ideation and creation portion of the design process. Sandwiched somewhere between user research and high-fidelity prototypes, sketching is a powerful, portable, fast and creative tool to bring to bear for capturing ideas, working through possibilities and communicating to stakeholders. Whether or not you are comfortable with sketching, we hope to encourage active participation while we discuss the creative process, sketching techniques, and an important part of sketching, critique. You will also work on exercises and examples to help you expand your sketching and drawing repertoire. Bring your favorite sketching media!
Everyone is welcome -- designers and non-designers alike.
This is a casual, non-sponsored workshop. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks to share
