The event begins at 8:15 a.m. and runners can register up until the run begins. Entry fees are $20 per person or $35 for a family entry (child and parent). Top fundraisers will win an award presented by Joe Jonas himself. And, SOTX athletes can enter a contest to win free tickets to the concert that evening! Grab your friends and family and sign up for a morning of fun and excitement!
Fifteen lucky participants will be randomly selected to run with Joe at the front of the race. When participants pick up their packet, they will find out if they’ve been selected. The fifteen winners will also be part of a special meet & greet where they can have their photo taken with Joe. All participants will receive an iWin Joe Jonas Fun Run finisher medal made exclusively for this event. Pop rock music rising stars and Jonas Brothers tour mates, Honor Society (www.myspace.com/honorsociety), will perform live for participants that morning. Honor Society, a pop rock band with a dose of R&B and urban music influences, has set the foundations for a break out year in 2009. Since the Spring, Honor Society has been named a breakout band to watch by Rolling Stone, identified as a Buzzworthy artist by MTV and earned an opening spot on one of the biggest tours of the summer as they joined the Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks on the North American leg of the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009.
