The Ives Quartet has established a reputation for passion, precision and provocative programming while winning accolades for playing that demonstrates super-refinement and visceral, rock-and-roll intensity. Ives Quartet members are Bettina Mussumeli, violin; Jodi Levitz, viola; Susan Freier, violin; and Stephen Harrison, cello. This Mill Valley Chamber Music Society concert also featured cellist Bonnie Hampton. The program will include Henry Cowell, Qt. # 4 "United"; Tchaikovsky: Qt. # 1 in D major, op. 11; and Schubert: String Quintet in C major (D. 956, op. posth. 163),
