It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Visit the Santa Experience at Sherway Gardens November 17, 2008

Memories are made of this! Children can enjoy an exciting, interactive visit with Santa at Sherway Gardens (Hwy 427 & the QEW) weekdays and Saturdays from Monday, November 17 until Wednesday, December 24 at the award-winning Santa Experience. Registration will be accepted in person at the Holiday Information Desk near the entrance to Sherway Square starting on November 7. 100% of the $5 per child ticket price goes to Sleeping Children Around the World. Santa will entertain his little guests and lead them in an interactive play session that includes singalongs, dancing and story reading – ending with a special moment with the jolly gent and a small gift for each child. Sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, and parents are encouraged to join in the fun.

With these scheduled sessions and pre-registration, children will not have to wait in long line-ups. Each child must be registered, newborns included, and the number of participants for each session is limited to a maximum of 40 children. 100% of the $5 per child ticket price goes to Sleeping Children Around the World – a locally based charity that provides bed kits for needy children in developing countries. Each bedkit consists of a mat or mattress, pillow, sheet, blanket, mosquito net (if applicable), clothes outfit, towel and school supplies. Although all sessions are listed here, please be aware that time slots fill up as the season progresses. Our Santa Registration Staff will be happy to advise you as to which spaces are still available. The Santa Experience sessions start at the following times:

Monday-Friday:
10am, noon, 2:30pm, 4:30pm, 6:30pm

Saturday, November 22 only:
10am, noon, 2:30pm, 4:30pm

All other Saturdays:
10am, noon, 2:30pm, 4:30pm, 6:30pm

December 24 (Christmas Eve):
10am, noon

Please Note: There are no Santa Experience Sessions on Sundays

WIN A VISIT FROM SANTA!

For the third year in a row, Sherway Gardens is encouraging every Santa Experience visitor to bring a new, unwrapped toy to place in the special Toy Box in Sherway Square. For each new, unwrapped toy donation made during the Santa Experience session up until the final session on December 18, you will receive a ballot for a chance to win a special home visit from Santa on Monday, December 22. The draw will be made December 19. All toys will be donated to Toy Mountain for distribution by The Salvation Army to needy children.
