What are you doing the day before Valentines Day?

This is the time of year everyone spends time with there boo, scramble to figure out what to get them or what to do that one day before V day and are a lot more intimate. You and your partner should know your status, not just relationship status but your HIV status. Millions of people become infected with the HIV virus during valentines day because of carelessness of unprotected sex. Its not always good to be positive. . . . . . . . . . . . with the HIV virus that is, why not have fun and get tested together, this may be the one honest and open thing that will bring your relationship to the next level?

The Philly Youth Council is having an event where you can buy a gift for ya V day boo, get a free HIV test with BEBASHI and have some fun learning something new in our workshops held by Bebashi, Horizon Blue Cross, and Planned Parenthood in Philadelphia.

We plan to have several vendors:

oils
jewelery
makeup
crafts
flowers
baked goods
photographs, etc.

Please come out and support the NAACP Youth Council with our event we are going to have live music and a DJ.

ALL AGES ARE WELCOME TO COME ESPECIALLY 12 AND OVER!

Goal:

To equip the youth with the necessary knowledge about Aids, STI's and other options to make a better informed decision about sex. This generational change can lead to a future dramatic decrease in people contracting the STD’s if more young people are willing to comfortably discuss and make smart decisions about sex.
