Native Floridian, Elisabeth Williamson, has been an active musical member of the Florida folk scene for more than thirty years and has appeared as a headliner at many of the state's finest festivals in one or more of the groups in which she performs.

Currently she performs with her husband, Lon, as a duo (The Williamsons), a trio (The Gatorbone Trio) and two quartets. (The Gatorbone Band and The Driftwoods).

While collecting and performing songs for all this time, she only recent began to pen her own tunes resulting in the new release from Gatorbone Records, "Deep". This collection of songs ponders life, love, joy, death and sorrow and is already receiving great accolades from the folk community.

Elisabeth and Lon look forward to celebrating the release of their record label mate and longtime friend, Frank Lindamood. "Hewed From The Rock" is Frank's debut songwriting recording as well and plumbs the depths of life's complexities in a compelling collection of tunes influenced by diverse forms from true mountain old-time to the earliest blues.

Frank Lindamood
Old-time music scholar, banjo, guitar, harmonica and singer songwriter

Frank Lindamood is a local icon keeping the tradition of old-timey finger picking alive, he delves deep down into the pit of his soul and belts out songs of yesteryears…

Frank is truly a scholar of old time American music, who has performed at countless festivals and clubs and attended regional assorted jams.

He has written songs and performed them on his guitar, banjo and harmonica touching the souls of his peers…

One can find Frank at a variety of jams, clubs or festivals and is particularly noted for his performances at The Florida Folk Festival. And sometimes if you listen carefully you can follow the sounds of his finger picking and spot Frank sitting

alone in the shadows of the night on a doorway stoop emerged in these tunes rich in story and history.

We are proud to bring our dear friend Frank Lindamood back to The Frog and The Hummingbird Co & Butterfield’s Roadhouse on Friday February 12th 2010 for yet another incredible performance,

Likewise, we are excited to announce that Frank’s first professional CD is now available at the Frog and The Hummingbird Co & Butterfield’s Roadhouse. Which includes all original songs…this is a must for any CD collection.

A demonstration of Frank’s delightful humor and wit is portrayed in this Excerpt taken from his CD:

“F. Lindamood lives in the county in some old turpentine woods at the end of a handmade road. He is very proud of his sons, David, Huck and Moses and his grandson Canon, all of whom turned out pretty good despite their old man. He is a recovering catholic who thinks computers are the antichrist. He decided not to return to church when he found out that the pope is not Irish and whiskey is not used in Holy Communion. In answer to persistent rumors about his past, he will only say that he didn’t do it, he’ll never do it again and that he has paid his debt to society. His rule to good living is ”never eat on an empty stomach.” He can be reached by telegraph at the Western Union office nearest Sopchoppy Florida .

Frank endears his audience with the richness of his tunes, his unique styles of picking, his penetrating voice and his delightful sense of humor…

We strongly suggest reservations for this Double CD Release party!.
