ISRAFEST January 12, 2011

Renowned Israeli pop superstar Rami Kleinstein and the dynamic young ISRAMERICA collective will perform in ISRAFEST, a celebration of Israeli and Jewish-American music, art and fashion, at City Winery. One Night Only!
One of Israel's top recording artists, Rami Kleinstein is often referred to as the “Israeli Elton John." He is known for his beautiful love songs, soothing voice and delicate piano-playing. This intimate concert will showcase Rami's piano virtuosity as part of his Kleinstein & Piano tour. He performs in both English and Hebrew.

Joining Rami onstage is an all-star line-up of Israeli and Jewish-American performers, many of whom have been featured Off Brodway, various TV shows on Comedy Central, MTV and HBO, The Cannes Film Festival as well as premiere Music and Comedy venues all over New York. Featuring: ISRAMERICA House Band (with Judah Gavra, Omer Shaish, Talya Smilowitz, Stav Livne and Natalie Tenenbaum), Paula Valstein, The Groggers, Rony Corcos, Noah and the Maccabees, Rony Stav, Musical Duo Shirel (with Shira Averbuch and Hananel Edri) and a snippet from Sivan Hadari's Off-Broadway Award-winning one woman show: The Emancipation of the Sassy Jewish Woman.
The walls at City Winery will be adorned with extraordinary visual art, paintings, murals and more all courtesy of the talented pro-Israel artists from Artists 4 Israel. The back walls will be draped with an endless array of Ethnic, Pro-Israel fashion items and accessories. But most importantly will be the Kick-Tuchess performances on stage by these young, breakout Isramerican artists.

Part of the proceeds go to the Gilad Shalit Org and to the development of our new musical:"YALLA!"
