With Donny Inbar of the Israel Center of the JCF
Adi Nes epitomizes a generation of Israeli artists whose work challenges convention. Nes’ photographs recreate scenes from famous paintings, historical events and biblical stories, placing them within the context of contemporary Israeli society. Shrewd and meticulous, his highly provocative photographs exude homoeroticism and arouse discussion around issues of social justice.
Presented in partnership with the the Israel Center of the Jewish Community Federation's Tzavta
