-Are you a musician or a music lover interested in Irish music? Then you should join us at Omaha’s only Irish Session ! An “Irish Session” is a group of like-minded musicians that get together on a regular basis to play traditional Irish music.
Sessions are played in a casual atmosphere where tunes are called out and played on an assortment of instruments; fiddles, mandolins, guitars, bodhran (Irish drum), and even banjos. Occasionally, we will have a musician join in with an accordion, tin whistle, hammered dulcimer, or even some fine vocalists.
The Irish Session began in Omaha four years ago and has been held at various businesses over the years; the Brazen Head, O’Connor’s, Clancy’s East, Sean O’Casey’s, and now the Benson Grind and the PS Collective.
Come join us at the Irish Session currently held at the PS Collective and the Benson Grind, Tuesdays, beginning at 8:00 p.m
