Irish in Virginia and Friends Christmas Party at Conklins December 20, 2009

Come join the Friends of St Brendan at Conklin's Irish Rover as they join together to have a mad Irish Christmas party with friends and family from across the miles. Grannies and mammies bring the babbies and young ones, bring your special friend. Couples, singles, and not quite sures, come along and celebrate. Oh, and Scrooges are invited, too!!

Parents/grandparents/aunts, uncles... please bring a single giftto put under the tree for each child with you.
For those who want to participate in the grownup gift exchange, please bring a wrapped new gift (5 dollars) or good white elephant for the silly exchange.
If you can, please let us know what children might be coming along, so we can judge what we need to make it a fun day for them.

Regular food and beverage will be available, so most of us are planning to have dinner and this event will be open to all the customers of the pub.

When you go to Dublin during the holidays the pubs are packed to the rafters with well wishers and friends meeting up for a Christmas pint, so let's start that tradition here and have a happy Christmas Season.
