Irish Earth Day Festival April 17, 2009

The Irish American Heritage Center will go greener than ever with its first ever Irish Earth Day Festival this April.

This free event is open to the Chicagoland community and will showcase companies and non-profits promoting sustainable living. Vendors will display Earth-friendly products, conservation, recycling, sustainable agriculture and alternative energy.
Meet many of the people who are building America's green future while exploring the exhibits and learning more about green jobs, sustainable living, Earth-friendly products, conservation, recycling, sustainable agriculture and alternative energy through demonstrations, workshops and hands-on exhibits.

The IAHC will provide healthy food for sale, Irish entertainment and children’s activities.
