Ira Glass is the producer and host of public radio's Peabody award-winning 'This American Life.' His program is a combination of memoirs, monologues and documentary stories. The author of 'Fraud' and 'Don't Get Too Comfortable', David Rakoff has also featured pieces on NPR's 'This American Life'. He's been called "a comic saint," while David Sedaris calls him "the wittiest and most perceptive man in the world."

Somehow I'm not surprised. I saw Ira Glass back in 2004 and he gives a wonderful talk.
I wonder if anyone will be posting a record... I'd *love* to go.

If this is his regular talk, a lot of the material he usually covers is also available online in this video. It might be different with David Rakoff there but we won't know, will we? T_T
