Atrium Players Theatre Company proudly presents the world premiere of Invisible Tears, a new comedy that is a double Chekhov treat, based on stories by Anton Chekhov and performed using his nephew Michael Chekhov's famous acting technique. This Russian company has translated, adapted and wonderfully interwoven nine of Chekhov's stories into a tale filled with the author's legendary pathos and humour. Using the story Orator, which takes place in a graveyard, as its starting point, Invisible Tears journeys through a myriad of emotions and other stories as it ultimately confronts, with tongue firmly in cheek, humanity’s eternal question: What is the meaning of life? Don't miss Invisible Tears running May 23 to June 3 at Theatre Passe Muraille’s Backspace. For tickets call the ARTS BOX OFFICE at 416-504-PLAY or visit www.artsboxoffice.ca
