Investigating Energy December 9, 2012

Students will be part of an interactive show exploring the many hidden forms of energy. Difference between stored potential energy and kinetic energy will be discussed and and and how to make use of them. Following this, students will get to make a cotton reel racer and calibrate it using the scientific method to then predict how far it will travel. Students then make a roller bug toy and get the chance to get creative in decorating it to give it its own personality. Details of this event may be subject to change.
