Explore invention stories behind the birth of electronic music and try your hand at creating your own electronic music with state-of-the-art music production software at this interactive demonstration and historical artifacts display. Electronic music producer Brian Miller will show visitors how to create beats of their own with software. DJ Will Eastman will discuss objects on view including a ca. 1929 Theremin, the first synthesizer, Gershon Kingsley's Moog used to compose the internationally famous hit âPopcorn,â and Herbie Hancockâs 1983 MemoryMoog.
