Course Description:
This ten-hour class will focus on the Major Arcana as archetypal tools that help us understand the energies that define us. These energies often determine the way we tend to organize and interpret our reality. We will also be exploring the various ways that creative visualization, meditation and divination can be used with Tarot to mediate and access higher levels of awareness. The role of divination as a portal to the so-called "invisible" world of our guides and teachers will be one of the main objectives of the course; another objective is using Tarot to tap into our Higher Self as well as learning to use readings as empowerment tools that help us claim back our destiny. This is a hands-on class. Active participation will be encouraged in order to develop techniques that enhance our intuition. Participants will be urged to keep a journal for the course as well as bring to class their favorite deck, in addition to the RWS deck.

The Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) deck will be the primary source for this course.
