Introduction to Shorebird Identification February 6, 2010

Shorebirds are an abundant and conspicuous part of San Diego bird life, yet they remain a mystery to many experienced birders. Learn to make sense of these busy birds through systematic field observations. After a brief classroom introduction, go right to the marshes and mudflats to look at the birds. Each participant will compile a book of field notes for more confident shorebird identification.
