Introduction to Reiki-A Healing Circle November 16, 2007

Do you or someone you know suffer from fatigue, chronic pain or other problems related to the stresses of everyday life? This “Introduction to Reiki – A Healing Circle” may be able to help. Reiki is a Japanese method of connecting universal life energy to our body's innate power for self-healing. The goal of this session is to promote deep relaxation and reduce stress. When your body is relaxed, your immune system is enhanced and your body is more able to naturally heal itself.

If you are 50 years old or greater, please join us for a free special program, “Introduction to Reiki – A Reiki Healing Circle”.

The program will take place on the third Friday of each month through June, 2008. The sessions take place from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the Hart Senior Center. You may attend one or all sessions. The Center is located at 915 27th Street (27th and J Streets), in mid-town Sacramento.

The Reiki Healing Circle is presented by a group of students and practitioners who have studied Reiki and wish to offer it to others as volunteers. The Reiki Healing Circle will offer free sessions to people who seek relief from the effects of daily stress, a variety of health challenges, chronic illness and treatments.

The practice of Reiki helps to transfer energy through the practitioner to the recipient by a gentle touch without manipulation. Reiki induces relaxation which opens, clears and aligns the body, mind and spirit to assist with wellness and self healing.

Reiki has no religious foundation, no creed, doctrine or dogma. It is simply a transfer of life energy. Reiki is gentle touch without manipulation. Reiki may be felt as soothing warmth and is very relaxing.
