UNM Continuing Education is offering a one day Introduction to Reflexology class on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 9am-4pm. Reflexology is based on the theory that our entire body is mirrored on the feet and hands by reflex points. When working the reflex points, we encourage energy and circulation to flow freely in our body. This takes oxygen and nutrition to all our cells, organs and glands. This encourages the body to heal itself and it helps the body to detox. In Introduction to Foot Reflexology, you will learn the history of reflexology. We will thoroughly go over the Foot Chart. You will learn what reflexology is and why it works, as well as the benefits of the work. By the end of class you will be accomplished in all the Relaxation techniques. Tuition is $55. Class will be held at Hayes Middle School at 1100 Texas Street Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Please bring 2 hand towels and a pen for notes.
