This session will be the continuation of earlier session on Six Sigma held on September 8, 2008. In the September session the speaker discussed:
- Introduction to Business Process Improvement (BPI); and
- BPI Mainstream, Lean and Six Sigma

In the upcoming session, the discussion will focus on:

2. Main advantages and objectives
3. Mainstreams of process improvement
4. Preparing for BPI: Success and failure factors
5. Preparing an organization for BPI
6. Strategic planning - a balanced approach

Speakers' Profile:

Peter Plenkiewicz
President, PMQG Solutions
Peter Plenkiewicz is the President and Founder of PMQG Solutions. He has over 15 years of extensive, hands-on experience in areas of Quality Assurance and Project Management. His experience comes from a number of industrial sectors: avionics, space robotics, multimedia, health and IT.

Peter promotes modern "managing by processes" approach. He strongly believes that there are significant opportunities for process engineering in high-technology sector. In his words, "High-technology is lagging behind other industrial sectors like automotive, health, financial and avionics in process improvement initiatives".

Before entering industrial sector Peter was enjoying successful academic career in native Poland and later in Canada. Peter holds a PhD in Physics and BSc. in Computer Sciences.
