Intro to Native Shrubs in the Landscape May 14, 2011

This introductory 3-hour course focuses on basic concepts used in choosing regional native shrubs for the home landscape. George Thomas, Instructor in Horticulture at Haywood Community College, begins with an indoor session emphasizing plant function (attracting wildlife, barriers, screens, specimen plants, etc.) and proper culture (light and soil requirements).
