First Fridays Opening Reception

Venture INTO THE WILD! at Uptown Gallery and support Maymont! Uptown Gallery is partnering with the Maymont Foundation for its 2010 All-Member Art Show, Into the Wild!, which showcases unique works of art created by the gallery’s 40+ artists. Uptown Gallery’s artists are donating 10% of the show's sales to Maymont.

The show also features a novel opportunity for Richmonders to make art with Uptown Gallery’s artists. Gallery guests are invited to paint their own “Into the Wild” picture on a donated 5’ x 4’9” canvas. Uptown Gallery will provide all painting materials and offer any needed professional assistance for those interested in painting a specific square on the canvas.
