Intimate Evening with Glenn Jones February 22, 2012

We are pleased to present the wonderfully gifted guitarist and story teller, Glenn Jones.
Jones formed Boston pysch-rock band, Cul de Sac, in 1989 and led it on its 20 year journey to nowhere, leaving 9 albums in its wake, including collaborations with John Fahey and Can's Damo Suzuki. His album Barbecue Bob in Fishtown was selected by Wire magazine as one of the best 50 albums of 2009.
Glenn’s latest album 'The Wanting' on Thrill Jockey features a stunning collection of original compositions of solo acoustic steel string guitar, 6-string, 10-string and bottleneck and 5-string open-back banjo.
We can’t wait to hear his collection of songs as well as stories of an incredible journey, all in the intimate surroundings of The Engine House.
