This three day signature event at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park, celebrates the continuing traditions and new innovations of American Indian artists. Come see Native dancers, singers, storytellers, and musicians perform throughout the weekend and enjoy some delicious Native food! More than 100 Native artists will be showcasing exquisite:
* Pottery
* Jewelry (metal and non-metallic)
* Sculpture
* Paintings and Mixed Media Artwork
* Weaving
* Beadwork
* Woodcarvings and other various cultural items
In addition to the arts and crafts sale, the Native Artists’ Competition will take place on the night of Friday, November 2. The juried competition includes six categories: Jewelry; Pottery; Painting/Mixed Media/Photography; Sculptures and Carvings; Textile and Basketry; and “Other Art Forms”.
