The Middle East Children's Alliance presents Diana Buttu -- legal advisor to the PLO negotiating team with Israel 2000-2005 (and the only woman present); Palestinian commentator on CNN, BBC, MSNBC, Al-Jazeera; and currently at the Kennedy School of Government. Buttu will speak on
"Uprisings in the Arab World" and "What's Behind the Negotiations?"
Special guest performance by Maria Poblet, queer Latina poet (formerly with June Jordan's Poetry for the People), and tenant organizer with Causa Justa/Just Cause.
