International Street Cannibals: JS Bacalhau Multi-Cultural, Multi-Genre Music and Dance Event December 5, 2010

Adaptations of J.S. Bach's music will be combined with Villa Lobos re-mixes, body percussion and breakdance, invocations performed on Brazilian berimbau, belly dancing and capoeira bouts. The concert will highlight the adaptable characteristics of Bach, as well as the rhythmic characteristics of Brazilian music, dance and martial arts and the kinship of these disciplines.
