Sex Worker Memorial and Candlelight Vigil
Every year on the anniversary of the conviction of the “Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, who confessed to having strangled ninety women to death, and in celebration of the lives of sex workers who have passed away, a memorial is held in honor of this day and the people who are no longer with us. We will memorialize those sex workers who have lost their lives, and honor those who are missing.
The SCAPA, SWOP and Desiree Allaince members will gather and walk the strip and hold a candlelight vigil outside the museum.
They will be meeting at the museum at 4 pm.
Come honor those who have have come before us and cannot walk with us today.
