The 'International Property Show - Dubai 2009', the biggest transactional property exhibition in the region, has successfully concluded despite the current downtrend in the property sector witnessing more than 10,000 visitors and substantial property deals struck among developers, real estate companies and investors. Furthermore, the presence of RERA Consultancy Zones for the first time at the event, where authorised representatives disseminated information on introducing new property laws was also a huge hit among the attendees.
The 2010 edition is set to highlight exceptional developments in different sectors of the real estate market due to the current challenges brought about the global financial crisis which became essential to attract more value-oriented and selective investors. It is prevalent that the global financial crisis has a detrimental effect to the property sector in general. However, as organizers of the show, we see a lot of opportunities in this unique and challenging scenario. Our strategic team has developed new strategies to face the situation in a different approach, taking the economic downturn of events to our advantage.
