International Livestock Auctioneer Championships July 15, 2011

The fastest mouths in the west will be at it again this year during the 22nd annual International Livestock Auctioneer Competition under the Calgary Stampede’s Big Top.
Contestants will start the bidding at Highwood Auction Market, with the top 10 advancing to the final round on Park on Saturday, July 16. Finalists will be required to sell brand consignment cattle and one Black Box item.
Competitors will be judged on rhythm, clarity, voice control, and livestock knowledge, as well as their ability to spot bids and conduct a sale.
