BOYS OF SUMMER ARE OUT - DOGS OF DISC ARE IN AT DESERT DISC FUNKTION 09 April 4-5, 2009 PEORIA SPORTS COMPLEX

Get ready for the 2009 Flying Disc Dog Open International Canine Disc Competition. The theme for this year is called “Desert Disc-Funktion” and will be hosted by The Phoenix Area Disc Dogs (PHADD). This unique disc dog competition features four different disc dog skill events, Freestyle, Speed Disc, Distance Pyramid, and Obstacle Course. Join us on April 4-5, 2009 (April 4th media only) in the main stadium at the Peoria Sports Complex, Spring training home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. This is a major league regulation field and "without a doubt the best turf we have ever been on" says Brian Heuett FDDO Field Director. The Phoenix Area Disc Dogs (PHADD) whose club motto is, "It's not just a phadd, it's a lifestyle" has been planning this event for months. “We are also proud to be in conjunction with the 2nd annual Pet-O Palooza sponsored by the AZ Dog Magazine”, says Bill Watters Executive Director of the FDDO. On Sunday April 5th thousands of dog lovers will converge on the stadium to participate in the 2nd annual Pet-o-Palooza and will have a chance to experience first hand two of the final FDDO events planned for Sunday.
