Intermediate sewing April 25, 2013

In the intermediate class, we generally extend the sewist's pattern skills by doing more complex items using commercial patterns. Participants will learn to install sleeves and collars, to sew bodice darts, ease more complex pieces together, and pockets. The intermediate class is based on students having a project in mind, prior to class and confirming with the instructor what the project is, what the pattern # is, and the student will bring those items to the class on the first evening. Students may come in with their own special requests also. Each week, we will talk about what students will be doing in the upcoming week, so the instructor can be prepared to demonstrate those techniques in class. All students have their own projects, so it's an opportunity to learn from your classmate's projects, as well as your own.
Class fee is $150

(5-week session, 10 instructional hours) Gift Certificates available for all classes! The class dates are 4/25, 5/2,9,16,23. Class is from 6-8 pm and we meet in the Short Pump area. Materials and supplies are available on site.
