The Interfaith Celebration is an opportunity for the Caribbean Diaspora and Friends of the Caribbean to come together in thanksgiving and celebration of our unity and diversity and to commemorate Caribbean Week in New York during Caribbean American Heritage Month. From the Caribbean Diaspora, leaders and worshippers of every faith practiced in the Caribbean are being invited to participate. The audience will also comprise Caribbean Ministers, Commissioners and Directors of Tourism, New York State and City officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps, tourism industry leaders, representatives of the media, and members of the clergy.
The program will feature a presentation of the Flags of the Caribbean, inspirational messages interspersed with gospel, dance and other performances by talented and accomplished Caribbean nationals. The youth is a central part of this celebration. Everyone is invited.
