A late-breaking special arrangement has been made with the McLuhan International Festival of the Future that will allow you, as a member of upcoming.org, to attend today's Internet Day programming events for free. If asked for a ticket or pass just say that geoperdis invited you.
There is a tentative plan to have a casual get-together after the presentations end at 5:30pm, so if you plan on attending the presentations come and say hello (I will be wearing a beige baseball cap and navy windshell) and join us for the social afterwards.
The idea is to bring together mediamakers of all stripes (photographers, bloggers, podcasters, writers, designers, musicians, film and videomakers, programmers, developers and others) who are interested or involved in the new media to discuss future events and activities in this city, including opportunities to showcase the exciting work and activity that is taking place in this town right now.
Program details below and at www.mcluhanfestival.com
Hope to see you there.

PS. You can RSVP below if you're coming or use this thread to share your comments, insights and questions about this spontaneous gathering experiment.
