the Integriti Reeves Trio will perform live jazz at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys as part of their Thursday night live music series. Vocals will be performed by Integriti and she will be accompanied by jazz guitarist Eric Wheeler and bassist Richard Johnson.
Integriti Reeves was the third place winner in the 2008 Billie Holiday Competition during Artscape. She graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Washington, D.C. where she studied classical violin, but while in high school, she discovered an appreciation for jazz music and, after further jazz study, began to embrace improvisation on the violin. During this time, she also began to explore her vocal talents and found an immediate comfort level as a dynamic jazz vocalist. In September 2006, Integriti began studies at the Johns Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, where her major concentration was jazz vocals.
The vocal talents of Integriti Reeves combined with the accomplished musical skills of Eric Wheeler and Richard Johnson will be an ideal jazz performance for guests and locals at the Radisson’s Crossroads Lounge. This will be the first time the Integriti Reeves Trio has performed there. The jazz performance will be complemented by free samples of menu items from the Crossroads Restaurant’s new farm-to-table menu.
The Thursday night music performance is free and open to the public and is from 6-9 p.m. Free covered parking at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys is an ideal feature of this music location and the bar has a drink to satisfy any craving. The Crossroads Lounge serves fine wines, local brews, and specialty cocktails with happy hour pricing from 4-7 p.m.
