"Decoding the hair" is a surprising, fun and instructive exhibition on a theme that is attractive by its familiarity, its universality, and its predominant place in our daily lives. It spans social sciences, life sciences, materials sciences, industry, technology and research. The exhibition has been designed to be interactive and will have attractive installations, objects, models, multi-media, computing it adapts to different places and cultures while retaining its coherence and legibility. The various cultural aspects of hair are also highlighted. The exhibition will be customized for the Indian audiences and hence the text along with the films will be presented in four languages – Hindi, Marathi, English and English Braille.
