Nathan Sivin, of the department of the history and sociology of science at the University of Pennsylvania, will present the lecture, “Science and Religion in China” on Monday, November 5 at 7 p.m. at the Commonwealth Chateau, SugarLoaf campus.
Sivin will discuss whether science and religion are bound to be opposed, and how looking at Western thought can bring another point of view to these topics. The lecture is free and open to the public.
