INSIDE BOOKS PROJECT 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY !
SATURDAY, MARCH 7th
at the US Art Authority
(next to SpiderHouse Cafe, off of 29th and Guadalupe)
doors open at 8, music at 9pm
The Austin Inside Books Project has sent Free Books to people in Texas prisons since 1998. We are an entirely volunteer-run group, and send an average of 2,000 books to 800 people every month in Texas prisons. Come celebrate with us !
We will be having raffles, carnival games, pinatas, a cake walk, and a silent auction of art made by Texas prisoners.

there will also be a special showing of pictures from IBPers Skot! & Danielle's 10,000 mile bicycle trip from Greece to India in 2006-7, including Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan and Pakistan, with some proceeds going to Inside Books.
