Insect Night Watch September 10, 2010

As the last rays of sun fade from the sky, there is a stirring from the woods and fields. In the dark shadows, seldom observed, the lives of nocturnal insects begin to unfold. Beetles, moths, lacewings, crickets, and katydids will be the subject of our nighttime explorations. We will use a variety of baits, lights, and traps to attract these fascinating creatures so we can look at them more closely. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details.
