The world is full of wonder! What is the biggest thing you can see? What is a super nova? Why is the sky blue? Is there such a thing as karma? Are ghosts real? Ever had questions about the world around you? One of the most important skills of being a learner in the 21st century is being able to turn curiosities into knowledge by organising your thinking to explore your questions! This course is designed to help guide interest in how to nurture intellectual character, explore mindfulness and understand thinking dispositions while fostering creativity. During this course, we will learn how to use a variety of Thinking Frameworks such as the TASC Wheel and Thinking Routines to organise your thoughts and explore your individual wonderings. You may choose to explore these individually, with a partner or with a group. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions, develop an understanding of using Thinking Frameworks, explore their question in a practical way, reflect on their newly acquired knowledge and evaluate further curiosities. This course will develop your ability ask questions worth exploring and organise your thinking in effective ways. Bring your inquisitive mind, your most niggling wonders and your sense of adventure - It will certainly be a week of exploration and imagination. This course is suitable for students in Years K to 4.
