In honor of Charles Darwin’s birthday! Loosely based on the famous John T. Scopes trial and set in 1925, Inherit the Wind examines the separation of church and state. In the film, a daring high school teacher (Dick York) challenges a state law by teaching Darwin’s theory of evolution.
