Karen Swartz, Certified Educator of Infant Massage and Certified Child Life Specialist is offering a 4-week infant massage class at the Children's Museum in Easton beginning Monday, February 2nd.
The shared interaction between both parent(s) and baby can provide many positive, healthy, and unique benefits especially as your infant goes through discomfort associated with teething, gas and colic. Most importantly, this program allows parents to bond and communicate with their infants like never before. The classes include hands-on demonstrations through which you will learn proper techniques for massage strokes with your infant, relaxation methods, and a discussion and reflection period.
Classes take place at the Museum starting on Monday, February 2nd, at 6:30 pm and continue on the following consecutive Mondays: February 9, 16, and 23. The cost for the 4-week session is $65 and pre-registration is required. For more information or to register for classes, call Karen at (401) 444-5613.
The Museum is located in the Old Fire Station on Sullivan Avenue in North Easton Village. For more information, please call The Children's Museum in Easton at (508) 230-3789 or check our website, www.childrensmuseumineaston.org
