You heard her beautiful voice in Mira Nair's "The Namesake" and now you can hear Mitali Banerjee Bhawmik sing in person, in duet with the extraordinary bansuri flutist Steve Gorn. The highly sought-after tabla player Dibyarka Chatterjee will accompany the musicians.
A one hour art exhibition and reception of acclaimed painter/sculptor Nadiya Jinnah's work will precede the concert, from 6:00-7:00pm. The concert will begin at 7:00 and there will be a wine reception for the artists immediately afterward.
These two talented and world-acclaimed musicians are performing together in a jugalbandhi for the first time, and it will be a concert to remember!
