Independent Living Resource Centers : are ran by the disabled for the disabled. To help keep the disabled people independent and living in their own homes. This group of people are outstanding and I believe more people need to know what they have to offer. they all work hard and they work hard for you. So if your disabled dont give up you still have options out there and they will truly help you.. All I know is I fell into a great depression with my situation and they have worked hard to help me, they have still stuck by me and are walking me thru till the end, and even then they have offered me help with their womens group, {via I am a woman} and since I was abused by my own son. they offered me help to get past the resentment I still feel, even though I love him. this is just a portion of my story and I can tell you there is help out there and people that really do care.
