Formed in 1991 in the San Fernando Valley suburb of Calabasas, California, Incubus rose to become one of the most popular alt-metal bands, setting themselves apart from other groups with a somewhat less-negative outlook and a tireless touring schedule. They scored lots of radio airplay during 2000-01 with the single, 'Drive.' The band is touring in support of its latest album, 'A Crow Left of the Murder.' Albert Hammond, Jr. is a guitarist and member of the post-punk band the Strokes.
