Internationally-renowned dancer and choreographer, Iñaki Urlezaga, cultivated his solo career in Europe as a principal dancer for the The Royal Ballet and the Dutch National Ballet. He founded his own company, Iñaki Urlezaga & Ballet Concierto, in Argentina in 2000. On October 15-17, Ballet Concierto will bring their unique brand of Argentinean expression to New York City for the first time with a compelling program of tango and classical dance at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Performances include the tango classic, La Cumparsita, by Gerardo Matos Rodriguez and the tango duet A Buenos Aires with music by Ástor Piazzolla. Tickets range from $35-$65.
